FAIRBANKS, Alaska --- The Western Oregon volleyball team took the first game from Alaska, but dropped the next three to fall 3-1 (22-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-17) on Saturday at the Patty Center.

The Wolves (1-10 overall, 0-3 GNAC) were led by Maela Honma's 16 kills while Chloe Asciutto added eight. Samantha Darby had a team-high 23 assists while Kealani Rosa added 21 against the Nanooks (13-1, 4-0).

WOU returns to action Thursday at home against Western Washington.
