IRVINE, Calif. --- The Western Oregon volleyball team fell to host Concordia University Irvine 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14) and Vanguard 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-22) on Friday at the Concordia Kickoff Classic.
In the Wolves (0-3) first game,
Maela Honma led the team with six kills to go along with nine digs while
Lauryn Johnson had a team-high four blocks and
Samantha Darby added eight assists.
In the loss to Vanguard, Honma again paced WOU with 10 kills and 13 digs while Johnson added eight kills. Darby led the Wolves with 22 assists.
WOu closes out its trip Saturday against Azusa Pacific.
