Box Score MONMOUTH, Ore.--Western Oregon outshot visiting St. Martin's on Saturday morning but couldn't find the back of the net during a 0-0 draw at the WOU Turf Field.
The Wolves had 15 shots to the Saints' 7, including a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal. WOU had four corner kicks to SMU's three.
Each squad picks up a point in the conference standings and the Wolves are now 2-6-4 overall and 1-4-3 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (6 points). WOU snapped a three-match losing streak with the tie. St. Martin's, coming off a 1-0 win over Montana State-Billings, is now 2-9-2 overall and 1-6-1 in GNAC play (4 points).
The match was a defensive bout from the start. It was evenly played in the stat column in the first 45 minutes with both teams firing off four shots and each squad had a pair of corner kick opportunities. WOU keeper

Western Oregon picked up the pace in the second off offensively. They sent 11 shots towards the Saints goal, but only three needed to be saved. In the final five minutes of play, the Wolves had shots by
Maya Courtenay get saved at 86:14, and another was blocked at 88:17. St. Martin's last official shot in the match came in the 68th minute.
Up next for the Wolves is a tough road trip north, where they will take on the top two teams in the GNAC. WOU will face second-place Simon Fraser on Thursday at 6 pm, and league leader Western Washington on Saturday at 2 pm.
