The Western Oregon track and field program hit a trio of indoor school records over the weekend as the Wolves competed in a four different meets.

The highlight of the meet for WOU came in the men's 200 as
Brennen Murphy broke teammate
Jack Burgett's school record with a time of 21.35 seconds. Burgett broke his own record, but was edged by Murphy in the race with a time of 21.49 while
Owen Frazier moved into fifth on the WOU all-time list in the race at 21.79. Murphy's time is No. 3 on the GNAC all-time list and No. 15 this season in DII while Burgett's mark is No. 5 and 26
th in DII.

While Burgett might've had his record broken in the 200, he hopped to the top of the WOU list in another Saturday as he tied the 60 meter record at 6.78 seconds – tying Mike Hinshaw's mark set in 2002.

Murphy nearly broke his own record in the 400 despite being bumped in the race with a time of 47.59 (record is 47.48) – good for 17
th in DII this season.

Jacob Behrman moved to fifth on the WOU all-time list in the shot put with a distance of 52 feet, 0.5 inches (15.86 meters).

On the women's side,
Jazmine Dotson improved her No. 4 time on the WOU all-time 60 meters list thanks to running a 7.64.

In the 200, Dotson moved to No. 4 on the WOU all-time list with a time of 25.39 while
Taylor Brasfield moved to eighth at 26.12.
George Fox Indoor - Newberg, Ore.
Alecia Lemeza made a little history Saturday at the George Fox Indoor as the junior improved her height by nearly eight inches to set a new school record of 11 feet, 5.75 inches – beating a 23-year-old record that was held by Stephanie Booth.

Alexa McGowan moved from fifth to tied for third on the all-time list in the pole vault with a height of 10-6 on Saturday.

Tate Herber shaved .01 off his No. 4 time in WOU history in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.31.
