Makenna Vierck led the Wolves with a fifth-place finish in the heptathlon at the GNAC Combined Events Championships on Tuesday at the Recreation Sports Complex.
Vierck finished with 4,455 points - 544 behind heptathlon champion Vivien Liessfield of Alaska Anchorage. The finish snagged four points for the Wolves heading into next week's GNAC Outdoor Track & Field Champoinships.

Olivia Boyd took seventh place with 4,124 points to add two more points to WOU's total heading into next week while
Alexa McGowan finisehd 10th with 4,038 points.
WOU didn't have a male competitor finish the decathlon.
The Wolves start action at the conference championships Monday back in Ellensburg.
