Chris Olsen, a freshman from Milwaukie, Ore. (Rex Putnam HS), registered two NCAA provisional qualifying standards over the weekend in southern California. He ran a 1:52.28 in the 800m on Friday night at the Bryan Clay Invitational to grab the first NCAA standard of his career. He then followed that up on Saturday at the Beach Invitational with a time of 1:52.19. Olsen's time moves him into third place on the Wolves' all-time top 10 list.
