Western Oregon University Wolves

Jason Slowey, a junior thrower from Medford, Ore. (North Medford), led the Western Oregon men's track & field team with 22 points at the 2010 Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships. Slowey won the men's shot put on his final attempt of the contest with a throw of 54-0 (16.46m). That mark earned him an NCAA provisional qualifying standard and moved him into fourth place in Western Oregon history. Slowey also placed second in the discus (156-5/47.68m) and fifth in the hammer (159-1/48.48m).
