Western Oregon University Wolves

Blair Wheadon, a 6-2 junior point guard from Junction City, Ore. (Junction City High School), scored 47 points and dished out 17 assists to lead the Western Oregon men's basketball team to a pair of wins this week. He matched his career-high with 29 points against Northwest Nazarene to even the Wolves' record in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference at 1-1. In his 29 point game Wheadon hit 11-of-16 shots, including 5-of-6 from three-point range and from the free throw line. In the three games last week, Wheadon hit 17-of-35 shots from the field and 8-of-18 from behind the line. He also had eight steals and grabbed 10 rebounds.
