@WOregonXCTF Kicks Off OSU High Performance Meet With Hammer Throw

MONMOUTH, Ore. – In its next-to-last meet of the regular season, Western Oregon University's track & field team will compete at the OSU High Performance Meet over the next two days with competition beginning on Thursday, April 30, with the men's and women's hammer throw on the WOU campus beginning at 4 PM.

The OSU High Performance Meet hosted by Pac-12 member Oregon State University will take place over a two-day period with all events except the hammer throw happening on Friday, May 1, at the Whyte Track & Field Center in Corvallis.

Field events will begin with the men's and women's javelin throw at noon on Friday, while the track events are scheduled to begin at 4 PM after the national anthem and senior recognition for the host Beavers.

The Wolves will also be competing on Saturday, May 2, at the Mt. Hood Track Festival beginning at 10 AM at Earl Klapstein Stadium in Gresham, Oregon.

After this weekend, Western Oregon will turns its attention toward the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships that will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 8 & 9, at McArthur Field on WOU campus with competition beginning at 2 PM on Friday and 9:30 AM on Saturday.
