PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior
Josh Hanna earned the title of Men's Track Athlete of the Week in this week's Great Northwest Athletic Conference selections.
A Quincy, Calif. native, Hanna received the honor after running 1:51.72 in the 800 meters at the Lewis and Clark College Spring Break Open in Portland.
His time earned him second place and a provision qualifying mark. The time also currently leads the GNAC and is tied for fifth best in Division II this season.
This is the third time in four weeks that a Western Oregon athlete has claimed the Men's Track Athlete of the Week award this season.
Western Oregon track & field will next compete in the Willamette Invitational in Salem on Saturday, March 26.
