Student-athletes inducted in Chi Alpha Sigma

Twenty new members honored Monday night

Western Oregon University inducted 20 new members into its chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma on Monday evening. Chi Alpha Sigma is the first national scholar-athlete society to honor those collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. The National College Athletic Honor Society seeks to recognize, honor and reward the combined academic and athletic achievements by our nation's exceptional collegiate student-athletes.

Chi Alpha recognizes college students who receive a varsity letter in their sport while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and/or senior years.
