KANSAS CITY -- Western Oregon University senior forward
Tanner Omlid was one of 16 recipients named to tha the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Coaches' Division II All-America team, the organization announced today.
The GNAC and West Region Player of the Year, Omlid led the No. 3-ranked Wolves in points (450), rebounds (215), assists (110), steals (88) and blocks (58). Omlid helped guide WOU to a school record 24-game winning streak while the team's 31 wins tied the GNAC record for wins in a single season.
Omlid is the second WOU men's basketball player to be named an NABC Division II All-American following Andy Avgi's successful nomination in 2015-16.
