FOREST GROVE, Ore.--Tallying 4,848 points over the two-day event, Mitchell Kruse placed seventh overall to lead three Western Oregon University track & field athletes in the decathlon at the Pacific Multis.

Running a 4:43.29 in the 1,500, Kruse scored 660 points to close the 10-discipline event with his highest tally of the competition. Kruse topped 600 points in the opening event as well, with 610 points in the 100 after clocking 12.21.

Fellow Wolves Jackson Stallard and Anthony Pablo placed ninth and tenth overall with 4,280 and 4,183 points, respectively. Wednesday's results marked the decathlon debuts for all three competitors.  
Stallard's best event occurred in the 100 with an 11.74 for 703 points. Pablo topped the 700-point plateau in the 1,500 with a 4:36.46 for 703 points.
