Western Oregon (4-18, 2-13 GNAC) came out of the gates with their best hitting percentage of the night in game one, picking up a .241 mark on 29 total attacks. That, however, was countered by the .462 hit percentage of Alaska Anchorage (17-6, 12-3 GNAC).

WOU made their best push in the second set, coming within four points of the game win. After a 15-15 tie, the Seawolves scored five straight points to pull out in front and hold the lead the rest of the set.
Held to just 2.0 total blocks, it was the lowest team total for Western since Sept. 17 and matched their season-low in the category.
Next up, the Wolves play their final road game of the season Saturday, Nov. 9 in Fairbanks. First serve against the Nanooks is set for 3 p.m. PDT.
