WOU Athletics posts solid fall grades with over 100 landing on honor roll

MONMOUTH, Ore. – The fall term was not only successful for the Western Oregon University athletic teams in terms of results, but also in the classroom. Counting all 13 varsity sports, the Wolves had 10 teams with over a 3.00 GPA, had a cumulative 3.19 department GPA and finished with 103 on honor roll.

"Having continued success in the classroom is always a key factor for any athletic department," Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Curtis Campbell said. "Our student-athletes and coaching staffs have put in the work needed year in and year out to reach these goals. When you see the numbers that were produced, it's great to see how well our teams are doing across the board. While our teams have been reaching new heights in terms of the competition, we always want to see the success in the classroom take priority."
