Goalie Mihelich joins soccer

MONMOUTH, Ore. – Morgan Mihelich, already a student on the campus of Western Oregon University, will join the Wolves soccer program for the coming season as announced by head coach Kacey Bingham.

"We are really thrilled about adding Morgan to our roster this winter. She has great playing experience being involved with high school and ECNL programs. She is technical, strong, a great shot stopper, and has great distribution. We think she will be a great addition to the team," Bingham said.

Mihelich is a 5-foot-10 goalkeeper from Belfair, Wash., that competed at North Mason High School. She was on varsity all four seasons, earning the spot as starting goalie as a true freshman. That season she earned First Team All-League. Mihelich continued to earn First Team All-League honors over her next three seasons, along with taking home a pair of team MVP honors and was a captain during those three seasons as well.

In addition to playing soccer, Mihelich also competed in track, was a two-year school board member and two-year ASB President. Mihelich played for the club team Washington Premier FC G01 ECNL.
