The Western Oregon track and field program wrapped up its final action before hosting the GNAC Championships this past week by competing at the Oregon Twilight on Friday and at the Portland Twilight and Linfield Open.

The Wolves host the GNAC Championships on Friday and Saturday this week at McArthur Field. Stay tuned for schedules and other information on the meet this week.

Here are some highlights from this past weekend:

• Easton Pomrankey PR'd in the 1,500 at the Portland Twighlight with a time of 3:51.52.
• Riley Smith at the Portland Twilight ran a PR and won her heat in the 800 (2:18.15)
• Emmett Klus went wire to wire in his heat to hit the 1:51-mark again in the 800 (1:51.82) at the Portland Twilight.
• In the men's 800 at the LInfield Open, Timothy Rambo (1:54.22) and Rami Dear (1:56.76) each ran personal bests.
• The WOU women's 4x400 team of Madeline Lambing, Bethanie Altamirano, Jenelle Hurley and Jessy Hart ran a season best 3:58.73 to take second on at the Linfield Open.
• Ping Kanoontha PR'd in the long jump with a distance of 6.59 meters (21-7.5) at the Linfield Open.
• Ujunwa Nwokoma won the long jump at the Linfield Open by nearly seven inches with a distance of 19-2 (5.84 meters)
• Altamirano ran a PR and took third in the 400 at the Linfield Open (59.55)
• Mark Warren took third at the Linfield Open in the hammer with a distance of 49.32 meters (161-9)
• Amariyah Clay had the No. 2 triple jump distance in WOU history after winning the Linfield Open with a distance of 11.97 meters (39-3.25). Ana Popchock took second at 11.40 meters (37-5.75).
• Liliana Lyness-Morales had a season best in the weight throw with a distance of 45.38 meters (148-10).
