The Greyhounds are an option, run-heavy team that have ran the ball 103 out of their 116 plays this season (averaging 261.5 yards per game on the ground, 86 yards through the air).
The Wolves defeated ENMU 46-7 last season in Monmouth - the first time in three meetings WOU has defeated the Greyhounds (lost to ENMU at home 35-27 in 2019 and 19-14 in 2018 in Portales).
WOU VOLLEYBALL OPENS GNAC PLAY IN HOME OPENERS THIS WEEK
The WOU volleyball team begins conference play this week in its first two home matches of the season as the Wolves host Seattle Pacific 7 p.m. Thursday and MSU Billings 7 p.m. Saturday at New PE Building.
The Wolves are coming off a 2-2 performance at the Mountain Lion Classic this past week, defeating Bemidji State and Western Colorado and falling to UCCS and Nebraska Kearney to move to 6-2 on the season.Â
WOU dropped both matches to SPU (6-2 this season) last season and has one win in its last 12 meetings (2021 at home). Against MSUBÂ (2-6), WOU won both matches a year ago - sweeping the Yellowjackets on the road and winning in four at home.
WOLVES MEN'S SOCCER HOSTS HOME OPENER SATURDAY AGAINST CCU

The Cougars enter this week 1-0-2 and haven't allowed a goal this season (played to scoreless draws against St. Cloud State and Newman while defeating William Jewell 3-0). CCU prior to Saturday takes on Saint Martin's on 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Monmouth.
