SEATTLE --- The Western Oregon men's and women's track and field teams opened up action in 2024 at the University of Washington Indoor Preview on Saturday with a pair of throwers reaching WOU all-time top 10.
 
Mark Warren finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 17.49 meters (57 feet, 5 inches) – good for seventh on the Wolves' all-time list.
 
Liliana Lyness took fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 15.27 meters (50-1), putting her eighth on the WOU all-time list.
