PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Western Oregon baseball team had 16 student-athletes named GNAC All-Academic when the conference released the list Wednesday.
Justyn Herzog led the Wolves with his fourth selection to the team while
Jacob Memmott was right behind him with his third selection.
Bryce Bond,
Curran Mitzel,
Ryan Shipley and
Zach Valdez each earned their second honor while
Owen Bischoff,
Dylan Chalmers,
AJ Cortese,
Devin Fry,
Cedric Gatter,
Chris Jones,
Tyler Mohler,
John Oleson and
Randy Stultz earned their first honor.
WOU tied with Central Washington with the most student-athletes earning conference all-academic honors.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have been at their current university for a year and own a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
Following Wednesday's non-GNAC contest against George Fox, the Wolves travel to take on CWU starting Saturday.
