MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team already knew it was in the NCAA DII Championships, but found out where and against who Monday as the GNAC champion Wolves take on Hawai'i Hilo on Friday in Turlock, California.
The winner of No. 8 WOU (11-4-4 overall) and the No. 9 Vulcans (11-5-2) will face top seed and host Stanislaus State (16-1-1) on Sunday.
It's the second year in a row the four-year-old Wolves program has made the NCAA postseason after winning the GNAC last season to qualify then beating Point Loma in the opening round before falling to host CSU Pueblo in the final minutes in the second round.
