KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Western Oregon junior
Yahir Ocampo Navarro was selected United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American on Thursday, becoming the first Wolves men's soccer player to earn All-American honors.
Ocampo Navarro, the GNAC Player of the Year and a two-time all-region first team member, led the team in goals (7), assists (6) and points (20) while playing in all 20 games for the Wolves.
The junior midfielder led the Wolves - a program that just completed its fourth season - to their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and GNAC regular season title while also winning the inaugural men's soccer GNAC Championships crown.
