MONMOUTH --- The Western Oregon men's cross country team took three of the top four spots while
Kyla Potratz led the women with a sixth-place finish at the Ash Creek Collegiate on Friday.
Matthew Resnik led the men's team with a second-place finish at 17 minutes, 59.30 seconds in the 6K race.
Ethan Bothwell finished third (18:06.90) and
Zander Campbell took fourth (18:08.70).
Isaiah Rodriguez also finished in the top 10 with a ninth-place finish (18:42.80).
On the women's side, Potratz took sixth in the 5K race with a time of 18:15.60. A pair of freshmen followed for Western Oregon with
Adele Beckstead taking 13th (18:55.50) and
Nettle Grey finishing 15th (18:56.70) while
Jazmine Liebl took 17th (19:08.50).
The Wolves return to action Sept. 27 when they host the Mike Johnson Classic.
