MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The 40th Annual Western Oregon Athletics Auction was another resounding success Saturday at the Wolves Athletic Center, raising $214,848.

The event, presented by Oregon State Credit Union, helps support the more than 400 WOU student-athletes and to their success through scholarships, improving the collegiate experience and empowering teams to compete for championships. 

The proof is in the results as the Wolves student-athletes boast a cumulative 3.2 GPA and academic success rate of more than 80 percent. WOU finished in the top half of the GNAC all-sports standings, including the men's programs finishing second in the GNAC this year. This doesn't include the WOU football program, which competes in the Lone Star Conference and finished the season second in the conference and was nationally ranked.
