Jason Slowey earned NCAA provisional qualifying standards in both the shot put and the discus at the Beach Invitational. Slowey threw the shot put 52-3.75 (15.94m) to take over the top spot on the GNAC performance list and fifth place in Western Oregon history. He then recorded a season-best throw of 162-2 (49.42m) in the discus to earn an NCAA provisional standard in the event for the second straight season. His discus throw also nabbed him third place in the conference.
Matson Hardie also earned an NCAA provisional standard at the 52nd Annual MT. SAC Relays. He leaped 48-1.75 (14.67m) in the triple jump to grab the top spot in the 2010 GNAC performance list and the fourth spot on the Wolves all-time top 10 list.
McKenzie Redberg moved to ninth place in the Western Oregon history books and fourth on the 2010 GNAC performance list in the 200m dash after crossing the finish line in 25.69 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Lexi Pola moved up to ninth place in school history in the 400m with a time of 58.89 which she earned at the Beach Invitational. That mark also placed her sixth on the 2010 GNAC performance list.
Ashtin Mott took over third place in the conference in the 400m dash with a season-best mark of 48.63 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Matt Schryvers threw the hammer 169-0 (51.52m) for a season-best toss. That mark placed him third in the GNAC.
Anthony Yakovich moved into a tie for third place on 2010 GNAC performance list in the 200m with a mark of 22.21 at the 52nd Annual MT. SAC Relays.
Jeff Long posted a season-best time of 3:57.03 in the 1500m at the MT. SAC Relays.
