MONMOUTH, Ore. - Kendale Hamlett of the Western Oregon track & field team has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Male Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 19-25.

Hamlett, a freshman sprinter from Tacoma, Wash. (Stadium HS) won both the 100 (10.98) and 200 meters (22.13) at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open.  Hamlett's 100 time ranks fourth and his 200 times ranks first on the GNAC season performance list.

The Western Oregon track & field team will have a select number of individuals competing at the Willamette Invite this Saturday (Mar. 31).
