Sam Moore registered a combined total of 3,982 points en route to finishing second overall.
Moore, who held a 74-point lead over second place with 2,566 points after Day #1, finished the two-day meet a mere 46 points behind winner Kiki McDonagh of Warner Pacific College.
The seven-event meet would begin Thursday with the 100 meter hurdles, as Moore won Section 2 in a time of 16.23 seconds earning 686 points. After one event, Moore was in third place behind Mt. Hood CC's Courtney Andre and McDonagh.
In the second event, Moore earned a GNAC provisional mark in the high jump clearing 1.57 meters (5-1.75) to finish second en route to earning 701 points to increase her two-event total to 1,387 points to vault into first place ahead of Andre's total of 1,363 points.
Moore would continue to excel in the third event, as she finished second overall in the shot put with a mark of 10.44 meters (34-3) earning 558 more points to increase her three-event total to 1,945 points as well as increasing her lead to 196 points over McDonagh.
In the fourth and final event of Day #1, Moore finished fifth in the 200 meters in a time of 28.12 seconds earning 621 points toward her opening day total of 2,566 points as she held a 74-point lead over McDonagh and a 78-point cushion over Andre.
Day #2 would begin with the long jump, as Moore finished sixth with a leap of 4.62 meters (15-2) and earned 459 points to increase her total to 3,025 points through six events. Andre would take the lead by a mere three points over Moore, as the Mt. Hood competitor earned 3,028 points followed by Moore and McDonagh (3,014).
In the sixth event, Moore would jump back into the lead in the javelin with a toss of 29.40 meters (96-5) en route to finishing third overall and earning 465 more points to push her total to 3,490 points to pull ahead of McDonagh by 13 points heading into the seventh and final event.
The final event would see Moore finish seventh overall in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:47.34 en route to earning 492 points for her heptathlon total of 3,982 points as McDonagh earned 551 points thanks to her fifth place finish the propelled her to the top of the final leaderboard.
Moore's heptathlon total earned a GNAC provisional mark, as she currently sits 33 points ahead of Central Washington's HarLee Ortega atop the conference rankings.
