MEN'S RESULTS
SEATTLE – Western Oregon logged two more school records and numerous personal bests to close out the highly-competitive UW Invitational Saturday (Jan. 28).

Record Breakers: Junior runner
David Ribich bettered his school and GNAC record in the mile run on Saturday to finish fifth overall and the highest-placing Division II runner. His time of 4:02.30 was nearly three second better than his time at the SPU Final Qualifier last February. Ribich is the Division II leader in the mile and has the only NCAA automatic qualifying time this season.

The women's 4x400 relay quarter of
Megan Rose,
Grayson Burke,
Suzanne Van De Grift and
Olivia Woods posted the fastest time in school history, crossing the finish line in 3:56.73. The time was the fifth school record of the meet.

Women's Highlights: Van De Grift ran a personal best time of 2:14.10 in the 800 meters, a mark that is third-best in school history.

Men's Highlights: AJ Holmberg ran the fourth fastest time in school history Saturday in his heat of the 400 meters at 49.28, edging his personal best by .15 seconds.
Dustin Nading made his mile debut and finished second in the opening heat with a time of 4:15.08.

Devon Fortier made his WOU debut in the 60 meters with a time of 7.21.
Josh Dempsey had the fastest Division II time in the 400 meters at 1:52.05.
Alani Troutman was one of two Division II jumpers to make the finals in the long jump. His 6.82m jump in the last round earned him a seventh-place finish.
