EUGENE, Ore. – There were many more solid marks and times to be had for the Western Oregon University men's and women's track and field teams on Saturday during the Oregon Relays at Hayward.
Ana Popchock hit a new PR distance in the triple jump with a mark of 37-09.25 to come in third.
Jenelle Hurley equaled her PR time in the 100 hurdles posting a time of 14.55 to come in sixth. She also ran that same time during the John Knight Twilight.
Justin Crosswhite continued his strong start to the outdoor season in the 800 as he is once again getting close to his PR in the event hitting a new season time of 1:52.09 to come in third.
Brennen Sorah was close to his PR time in the 110 hurdles coming in with a time of 15.69 to come in eighth.
Samuel Cole led three Wolves in the hammer hitting a mark of 167-07 to come in eighth. Owen Collins came in 10th with a distance of 153-06. Mark Warren was right behind in 11th with a mark of 146-05.
Emillia Carpenter was close to her PR in the hammer hitting a distance of 139-05 to place 11th. Liliana Lyness-Morales came in 13th with a mark of 137-01.
Amity Deters reached her season-high in the high jump clearing a height of 5-03 to come in eighth. Kalulusno Ngaida was just off her season-best height clearing 5-01 to come in ninth.
Kaylee Wright came in fifth in the javelin with a throw of 146-06. Lyndee McClauchlin was close to her PR in the event hitting a distance of 134-02 to come in 10th.
Collins hit a distance of 46-02.75 in the shot put to place sixth.
Moana Gianotti placed seventh in the shot put hitting a mark of 42-06.75. Halle Hargett came in 11th with a distance of 36-05.50.
Marlon Harrison was close to his PR in the triple jump reaching a distance of 45-01.75 to come in third.
WOU will compete in the Oregon State High Performance Meet this coming Friday and Saturday in Corvallis.
