GNAC men's soccer poll released

PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Great Northwest Athletic Conference released its preseason men's soccer coaches poll Tuesday with Western Oregon tabbed seventh.

The Wolves are entering their first season as a program and finished with 11 points in the initial poll, five points behind sixth-place Montana State Billings in the seven-team league.

Simon Fraser was picked first in the conference with 47 points and picked up five of the GNAC's seven first-place votes followed by Western Washington (40 points - one first-place vote) and Seattle Pacific (37 points - one first-place vote).

Western Oregon plays an exhibition match at Multnomah 2 p.m. Wednesday before playing another exhibition at Linfield 7 p.m. Monday.
