MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's soccer team continues GNAC play this week with a home match against Northwest Nazarene 11 a.m. Thursday before traveling to take on Saint Martin's 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
WOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEKÂ | 2022 STATS
Western Oregon is coming off a pair 2-0 losses on the road last week to open GNAC play, falling at Seattle Pacific on Thursday and at No. 20 Western Washington on Saturday.
Alex Grignon continues to lead WOU in points at three with a goal and an assist while
Abraham Villalobos has a goal to go along with a team-high 11 shots and three on goal.
Chester March leads the team in minutes - having played all 630 - while
Enrique Gomez is second in minutes with 531 and
Ben Mitcheson is third for non-keepers with 527. At keeper,
Juan Suarez has played 605 minutes while making all seven starts starts with a 1.78 GA average, 43 saves, 0.782 save percentage and two shutouts while facing 112 shots.
NORTHWEST NAZARENE HEADING INTO THE WEEKÂ | 2022 STATISTICS
The Nighthawks are coming off a GNAC-opening 3-0 win over Saint Martin's at home Saturday (getting goals from Lukas Juodkunaitis, Jake Levine and Sullivan Smith) - its first game since defeating No. 14 West Texas A&M 1-0 on Sept. 10.Â
Levine leads the team with nine points (three goals and three assists) is tied for the team lead in goals with Smith and the team lead in assists with Juodkunaitis. Jimmy Koufidakis leads the team in shots with 14 - including a team-best seven on goal (has two goals). At keeper, Sawyer Price has played all but 20 minutes this seaon for NNU with a 1.18 GAA, 19 saves, a 0.704 save percentage and four shutouts - a GAA that is a bit skewed with five goals allowed in one game against No. 23 CSU Pueblo earlier this season.
SAINT MARTIN'S HEADING INTO THE WEEKÂ | 2022 STATISTICS
The Saints had their losing streak extended to six after dropping a 5-2 game at home against No. 20 Western Washington on Thursday and a 3-0 road contest at Northwest Nazarene on Saturday.
Arjun Gill leads the team in goals with two while jay Mendoza has a team-high two assists. At keeper, Hunter Askland (390 minutes, 3.46 GAA, 0.545 save percentage) and Nick Mueller (312 minutes, 3.45 GAA, 0.600 save percentage) has seen the majority of the time this season.

GNAC TEAM OF THE WEEK - RELEASE
The Western Oregon men's soccer team was named the GNAC Team of the Week on Aug. 29 after the Wolves won their first match in program history. The Wolves defeated Hawaii Pacific, 1-0, at WOU Soccer Field on Friday - a Sharks squad that had eight wins under its belt a season ago and return much of its starting lineup.
