SEATTLE --- Western Oregon's
Ujunwa Nwokoma broke her own school record in the long jump and
Hunter Hutton ran the second-fastest indoor mile in WOU history to highlight the Wolves' performance at the Husky Classic.
Nwokoma leaped distance of 18 feet, 7 inches to finish third at the event - besting her previous record of 18-5 set in late January.
Hutton ran the mile in 4:03.26 seconds - the second-fastest time in WOU indoor history and the third-fasted time in GNAC history.
WOU's
Dayne Gordien won the shot put at the event with a distance of 16.15 meters (53 feet) - besting second place by nearly seven feet.
In the women's 60-meter dash,
Maliyah Thompson ran a season-best 7.75 while Nwokoma ran a personal best of 8.02.
