EUGENE, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's and women's track and field teams headed south to Eugene on Saturday and came away with positive results - including an event victory.

Dayne Gordien took first place in the shot put with a distance of 16.70 meters (54-09.5) - an NCAA provisional mark and the fourth-best outdoor throw in WOU history.
Another Wolf hit an NCAA provisional in a field event as
Kaylee Wright took fourth with a distance of 44.54 meters (146-01).

Easton Pomrankey winning his heat in the 1,500 with a time of 3 minutes, 56.12 seconds

Jenelle Hurley took second in the long jump (5.43 meters - 18-11.75) and fifth in the 100 hurdles (15.06)

The Wolves return to action next weekend with athletes in Southern California (San Marcos and San Diego) as well as at the Willamette Invitational in Salem.
