The Western Oregon track and field team saw two school records get broken and several personal records set at the Pacific Coast Invitational in Long Beach, Californa, the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, and at the Lewis & Clark Byerly Invitational in Portland this weekend.
Pacific Coast

Maliyah Thompson set the school record in the 100 at 11.96 seconds - becoming the first female in WOU history to clock a time under 12 seconds.

Ujunwa Nwokoma set the school record in the long jump at 5.93 meters, an NCAA provisional distance, tops in the GNAC and 22nd in DII.

Justin Conklin set a PR in the 110 hurdles at 14.74 - the eighth fastest time in WOU history

Kalulusno Ngaida set a season best in the triple jump of 11.41 meters

Bryan Clay Invitational
- Easton Pomrankey sets a new PR of 3:53.09 in the 1,500
- Hunter Hutton set a new PR in the 1,500 of 3:46.67 - an NCAA Provisional mark and No. 4 on the WOU All-Time List
- Keeton Sanchez matched his PR of 3:53.46 in the 1,500 and picked up an 800 heat win and a new PR of 1:52.12
- Mark Warren set a PR in the hammer of 53.72 meters
- Liliana Lyness-Morales sets a new season best in the hammer of 43.86 meters
- Holly Hutton set a new PR in the 800 at 2:17
- Caitlin Heldt in the 10,000 set a personal best by 51 seconds and hit the NCAA provisional with a time of 36:20.29
- Kalulusno Ngaida set a season best in the high jump of 1.62 meters
Lewis & Clark Byerly Invitational
- Wyatt Smith set a new PR in the 1,500 at 3:59.90
- Krystal Andres set a discus PR improving her top-10 mark to 41.79 meters - finishing second at the event
- Justin Parnell set a discus PR of 41.73 meters
The WOU track and field program next competes at the OSU HIgh Performance in Corvallis April 28-29.
