PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Western Oregon men's cross country team had a conference-best 11 GNAC All-Academic honorees while the women's team was second with nine when the conference released the honors Wednesday.
Earning honors for the men was:
Chase Anspach,
Jordan Kemper,
James Lackey,
Dustyn McKenney,
Easton Pomrankey,
Keeton Sanchez,
Kolby Spink,
Ethan Bothwell,
Elwood Hosking,
Isaiah Rodriguez and
Remedan Seman. For McKenney, it was his fourth time being honored, for Kemper, Pomrankedy and Sanchez it was their third time and for Anspach it is his second honor.
On th women's side earning honors for the Wolves was:
Katie Chapman,
Abbigale Elliott,
Olivia Flack,
Holly Hutton,
Lindie Larson,
Natalie Perez,
Amelia Merritt,
Kaydence Nguyen and
Kyla Potratz. For Chapman and Larson, it's their third time being honored while for Elliott, Flack, Hutton and Perez it was their second time.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 GPA or higher and be in their second year at their current university.
