SIMON FRASER NOTES
- The Red Leafs enter this series on a 14-game losing streak - tied for the fifth-longest current losing streak in D-II (Shorter of the Gulf South Conference has lost 20 in a row). SFU's last win, oddly enough, came against 13th-ranked Western Washington 7-4 March 2 in Bellingham. It's one of four losses for the Vikings this season (22-4 - one of those losses was a non-conference contest against WOU in Lacey with the other two coming against Northwest Nazarene).
- SFU ranks fourth in the conference in batting average (.268), but are last in runs per game (3.31) and on-base percentage (.316).
- In the circle, the Red Leafs are sixth in the conference in ERA (5.64).Â
- Defensively, SFU is last in the conference and 232nd out of 268 teams in D-II in fielding (.935).
- The Red Leafs feature two of the top six base stealers in the conference in GNAC-leader Megan Duclos with 17 while Grace McMillan is sixth with nine. SFU is third in the GNAC in steals with 39 - three ahead of WOU.
