MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon football program wraps up its spring action 1 p.m. Saturday as they play in the Red vs. Black Spring Game at McArthur Field.
The event is free and fans are encouraged to come to the game early to tailgate with Rookies/Arena Sports Bar & Grill.
The Wolves are coming off a highly successful 2025 campaign where they went 8-3, were ranked in the top 25, knocked off two nationally ranked opponents and finished tied for second in the Lone Star Conference at 7-2.
Western Oregon opens the 2026 season August 29 on the road at Colorado School of Mines in Golden before playing at Southern Oregon the following week, a bye and then opening LSC action at Central Washington on Sept. 19. The Wolves play their home opener Sept. 26 against Angelo State.
