ROMEOVILLE, Ill. --- The Western Oregon cross country teams were in the Midwest on Saturday competing at the largest D-II meet of the season - the Lewis Crossover.

On the men's side, Logan Parker led WOU by finishing the 8K race in 25 minutes, 00.61 seconds - good for 73rd place in the 341-person field. Easton Pomrankey also finished in the top 100 in 87th (25:09.07) while Jordan Kemper finished in 118th (25:24.23).

On the women's side, Amelia Merritt led the Wolves by finishing the 6K in 23:36.14 - good for 179th in the 336-person field. Kyla Potratz finished just 0.2 seconds behind Merritt with a time of 23:36.34 to take 180th while Olivia Flack finished 219th wit ha time of 23:57.09.

The Wolves next compete at the George Oja Invite hosted by Linfield in Independence, Oregon.
