Bella Pedrojetti moved to No. 5 on the single-season WOU all-time list for 3-pointers with 55. Earlier this season, the Wolves fell at #15 Alaska Anchorage and opened GNAC play with a win over Alaska Fairbanks. Alaska Anchorage comes in on a seven-game winning streak while Alaska has dropped its last seven contests.

AT A GLANCE: The Wolves last week droped contests at Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene and sit 10th in the conference. Earlier this season, WOU opened GNAC play with losses at Alaska (87-72) and at Alaska Anchorage (71-49). Alaska Anchorage sits a spot above WOU in the GNAC standings while Alaska is in a tie for the sixth and final GNAC Championships spot with Saint Martin's with two games to go (the teams play each other Thursday and Alaska must win to have a chance at the playoffs as it lost to the Saints earlier this season).

AT A GLANCE: WOU opens GNAC play against the preseason favorite Northwest Nazarene this week. The Wolves have had the misfortune of bad weather canceling the previous two series (at Lewis-Clark State, Feb. 14-17, at Central Washington last Saturday in non-GNAC games) and will be playing for the first time since defeating Fresno Pacific on Feb. 8.  Collin Irwin is the Wolves' lone player with an average above .300 at .313 as he also leads the team with a .522 OBP and an .897 OPS. On the mound, reliever Shane Bailey owns a team-best 1.04 ERA and 0.81 WHIP in 8.2 innings pitched (the second most on the team) with four strikeouts. Devin Bell has been solid in his two starts with a 3.72 ERA with a team-best nine strikeouts in 9.2 innings of work.
The Nighthawks enter GNAC play at 11-7 after splitting a four-game home series with No. 24 Colorado Mesa. Bryan Rojas leads the team in hitting at .371 with three homers, 10 doubles and 14 RBI while Nin Burns II is hitting with .323 with four homers, three doubles, 20 RBI and six stolen bases. On the mound, Cole Calnon has led the way for NNU as he's 3-0 with a 1.23 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 22 innings (including two complete games) while Ernesto Lugo-Canchola is also 3-0 with a 3.32 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 21.2 innings of work.Â

Aaliyah Gaboriault leads the team in hitting (.395), OPS (.846), runs (7), hits (15), slugging (.421), on-base percentage (.425) and stolen bases (5) while Isabelle Lewis has a team-high seven RBI while hitting .296 - second on the team. Kennedy Abbas paces WOU in the circle as she owns a 3.90 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 37.2 innings of work.
