MONMOUTH, Oregon --- The Western Oregon men's and women's cross country teams are in Billings, Montana, for the NCAA Division II West Region Championships set for Saturday morning at Amend Park.
The men's 10K race is set to begin at 9 a.m. (PT) while the women's race is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. (PT).
Set to compete for the WOU men is:
Hunter Hutton,
Dustyn McKenney,
Logan Parker,
Easton Pomrankey,
Bailey Smith,
Kolby Spink and
Miguel Villar with
Keeton Sanchez serving as the Wolves' alternate.
As for the women, competing for WOU is:
Katie Chapman,
Luz Garcia,
Caitlin Heldt,
Holly Hutton,
Lindie Larson,
Natalie Perez and
Riley Smith with
Olivia Flack serving as the team's alternate.
Both WOU teams are coming off fourth-place finishes at the GNAC Championships held in Monmouth.
Caitlin Heldt paced the WOU women by taking third with a time of 21 minutes, 9.1 seconds in the 6K race. On the men's side,
Hunter Hutton led the Wolves with a 10th-place finish with a time of 24:23 in the 8K race.
