WOU JOHN KNIGHT TWILIGHT NOTES
- Men's 800 (5:35 p.m.): WOU alum and 800 indoor record holder Derek Holdsworth (who represented Team USA in the 800 at the 2024 Pan American Games) returns to join a strong 800 field for WOU as Elwood Hosking (1:51.83), Isaiah Rodriguez (1:52.15), Keeton Sancez (1:52.44) and Easton Pomrankey (1:52.47) have WOU at No. 2 in terms of event squad rankings in D-II according to the USTFCCCA rankings.Â
- Women's Hammer (After 11 a.m. men's hammer) - Emillia Carpenter is coming off a personal record (47.22 meters) while Liliana Lyness-Morales (46.6) had a season best at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic on Friday. The event field will be solid with GNAC competitors from Saint Martin's & Central Washington
- Women's Javelin (2 p.m.): Ten women will be throwing for WOU, including Kaylee Wright (No. 2 on the WOU all-time list) who had a season best last weekend at Stanford and is returning to form after an injury.
- Men's Triple Jump (After 2:15 men's long jump): WOU's Deshaun Stevens is coming off almost getting his PR in his first meet out this year at Pacific on Saturday (13.48 meters/44-2.75).
- Women's 5,000 (8:30 p.m.): WOU 5,000 record holder Caitlin Heldt (17:06.05) will be racing the event at home.
- Men's 1,500 (7:10 p.m.)/5,000 (8:55 p.m.): WOU's Bailey Smith is stepping down in distance to run the 1,500 in a competitive field before doubling back in the 5,000 later in the evening - an event he ranks fifth in WOU history in at 14:36.13 (earlier this outdoor season, he also moved into second on the WOU all-time 10,000 list at 30:16.03).

NORTHWEST NAZARENE NOTES
- The Nighthawks are coming off taking three of four at Central Washington to move to 12-4 in GNAC play - three games ahead of WOU (9-7) and CWU (9-7)
- NNU leads the conference in ERA (4.62), WHIP (1.25), runs per game (6.9) and stolen bases (55). Also don't expect a lot of free passes as the Nighthawk pitching staff gives up just 2.38 walks per nine innings - fourth in Division II.
- Closer Wade Duncan is leads the GNAC in saves (6) and is tied for the conference lead in wins (4.1) to go along with a 2.11 ERA.
- Kyle Ethridge is the ace of the NNU staff as he's 3-1 with a 3.57 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 32 strikeouts in 45.1 innings of work. In his start against the Wolves earlier in the season, he went 8.2 shutout innings - giving up just four hits with striking out eight.
- Trevor Tishenkel has been the most dangerous Nighthawk at the plate with a .317 average, 1.048 OPS, eight home runs (1st in GNAC), 10 doubles (T-1st), 28 RBI (T-1st)Â and 21 runs.
- NNU leads the GNAC in stolen bases with 55 with Carter Walsh (14 - 1st), Adam Paganelli (10 - 2nd), Cole Calnon (8 - 3rd), Gavin Brubaker (7 - T-4th), Drew Deal (5 - T-7th) anad Casey Wayne (5 - T-7th) all ranking in the top 10 in the conference.

WESTERN OREGON NOTES
- The Wolves are 15-6 since Feb. 18
- Mackenzee Collins earned GNAC PItcher of the Week The senior tied a 26-year-old school record with 16 strikeouts Saturday against Simon Fraser in a nine-inning 5-2 Wolves win. Collins went all nine innings and didn't give up an earned run on five hits with two walks. In two starts in the series against the Red Leafs, Collins had a 0.43 ERA with 23 strikeouts and five walks in 16.1 innings of work with SFU hitting .155 against the right-hander. It's the second time this season Collins has earned GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
- Collins leads the GNAC and is 37th in NCAA Division II in strikeouts with 111. She's second in the GNAC and 31st in D-II with a 1.24 ERA (tied with teammate Alivia Holden).
- Holden leads the GNAC in opposing batting average at .168.
- Victoria Zimmerman continues to lead the GNAC in hitting with a .385 average and on-base percentage at .477.
- Sydney Conklin leads the conference with three triples.
- The Wolves can advance a runner with the best of them as they are first in the GNAC and 10th in D-II in sacrifice bunts with 35. Chelby Smalley leads the GNAC with seven, Kate Ronning and Zimmerman are tied for second with six apiece, Conklin is fifth with five, Bella Valdes is sixth with four while Aaliyah Gaboriault is tied for seventh with three.
- Valdes is second in the conference in stolen bases with 13 (she's only been caught once).
SAINT MARTIN'S NOTES
- The Saints have lost seven in a row after starting the season 16-8 - including being swept by nationally ranked Western Washington last week in a four-game series (scored six runs in the series).
- While SMU ranks fifth in the conference in batting average (.262), it ranks first in on-base percentage (.351) thanks to leading the conference in being hit by pitches (25) and second in walks (94).
- Ashley Goodale (.368 - 3rd), Heather Ebner (.349 - 6th) and Britney Patrick (.330 - 9th) rank in the top 10 in the GNAC in hitting. Ebner is also third in RBI (27)
- Chloe Leverington leads the SMU pitching staff with a 2.57 ERA, 92 strikeouts and 84.1 innings pitched despite not officially starting a game this season (has appeared in 26 games this season - tops in the GNAC and seventh in the nation). She leads the GNAC and is second in D-II with six saves while her nine victories are tied for second in the conference.
