Jim Boutin-coached team went 30-2, still the best mark in school history...The Wolves advanced to the NAIA Division I tournament, eventually falling to Kearney State 97-95 in a wild semi-final contest...The team began the year with a 20-game winning streak...The Wolves won the NAIA District 2 Championship with a 78-64 victory over Chaminade, in front of an overflow crowd at the New Physical Education Building...Ranked as high as sixth that season in the national poll...Boutin was named the District Coach of the Year, and Dave Porter made the NAIA all-tournament squad.
