A volleyball standout for the Wolves in the late 1980’s...Named to the first team NAIA All-American squad in 1988...Was a second team selection in 1987...Twice named to the NAIA national tournament all-star team...Was the Cascade Conference player of the year as a senior...Two-time first team all-conference pick...The Wolves reached the national title match in Sappington’s junior and senior seasons...She had 87 service aces in one season, still second in WOU’s record book...Is also second all-time with 155 career aces, despite playing only two seasons at Western.
