A NAIA All-American following the 1979-80 season, Archambault is one of only two men's basketball players in school history to achieve the honor. He was a first-team All-District 2 selection in 1978 and 1980. Archambault led the 1980 team to a 25-6 record as he topped the squad in scoring at 19.6 points per game and finished the season third on the WOU single-season scoring list with 601 points. He also completed the year averaging a double-double as he hauled in 10.6 rebounds per contest. Following his time at WOU, Archambault went on to excel as a teacher and coach in the State of Oregon.
