Grady played baseball at WOU from 2010-12 and is currently an assistant coach for the Wolves.

He holds the record for most wins in a season (12-0) and shutouts in a season (3). He ranks third for most games started (14), complete games (5) and innings pitched (100) in a season. He ranks fourth for most strikeouts (89), third for most batters faced (412) and most at-bats against (370) in a season. He also leads the way in most hit batters (11) and most groundouts (147) in 2011 and (144) in 2012.

He was named GNAC Athlete of the Year in 2012. He led his team to the NCAA West Region Tournament in 2011 and 2012 and was named the NCAA Division II Pitcher of the Year in 2012. He holds the all-time D-II record of most consecutive wins at 20. After playing at WOU, Grady was drafted in the 10th round by the Seattle Mariners organization, where he played six years before moving to the St Louis Cardinals. Grady joined the Wolves coaching staff in 2020.
